Round 4 sees us visit the North East of England for the 1st of 2 visits this year.
This time round, drivers battle it out for the 4th round of 2024, mid season.
Points gained here are valuable to the driver as they battle their way up the league tables.
Saturday sees practise in the morning, followed by qualifying in the afternoon for both classes. The pressure can get to the drivers as they try and secure their place in the battle tree for the following day.
Sunday, the drivers get a couple hours of practise to get used to any track condition changes, then we head into the battles.
Starting with Class 2, the drivers battle it out to eliminate their competitor for that coveted spot on the top step of the podium.
They’re very quickly followed by Class 1 with some leviathan machines. It’s all to play for as drivers battle for points for the mid season.
