Staff at Drift League have various roles they fulfil before during and after a weekend event.

Marshalling is a critical aspect of our drift events, our marshals are responsible for ensuring the safety of drivers and spectators alike, including clearing incidents during the duration of the event. All Drift League marshals play an essential role in the smooth running of our events, and their ability to work as a team is key to ensuring the safety of everyone involved. They are trained to handle a wide range of situations, from changing weather conditions to track incidents, and always remain vigilant.
Marshalling is a challenging but rewarding job, and it requires a great deal of skill, dedication, and teamwork, which our team have learnt and built over the last 10 years working under the Gtec Events banner.

Other staff include our all-important Race Control and the general staff who oversee and organize the marshals and the running of the whole event. Their event activities include liaising between judges and race control and logging all the scores for our competitions and creating our all-important battle sheets, so we know who is against who!
We have staff that look after driver welfare, scrutineering drift cars, signing drivers on for the event, gridding the cars for battles as well as liaising between the track, pits, and race control in order to provide a safe environment for everyone attending the event.
These guys are rarely seen but are crucial to the smooth running of Drift League at every event.

If you are 18yrs+, not afraid to get stuck in, or be up close and personal with our drivers and their cars, why not volunteer at Drift League? If you are a younger teen and still want to help out pit side, please do still get in touch.
You can email Enquires@driftleague.co.uk with the subject Marshal, and our Race Controller and all round good guy Lee will get back to you ASAP. We are always looking for sensible and capable people to join the team!
