My drift journey started in April 2021, when I bought my BMW E46 compact, as a birthday present for myself.
I always wanted to build a drift car and this felt like the right moment. The car was a very basic street spec. At the end of 2021, I attended the Autofest drift cup season finale, which is a grassroots competition run by team garage500, and successfully finished in 1st place.
Throughout the winter, I was slowly upgrading bits in my car to prepare it for a full season of Autofest Drift Cup in 2022. After 3 rounds, I finished in 1st place in the full championship and 1st place at Diemax in 2022. Winning the whole championship helped me massively to pay for the cage and all the other safety features for the car.
At the start of 2023, I began preparing the car to participate in the Drift League GB season for 2023.
