Hi my name is Hayden Renton, and I am competing in the 2023 Drift League GB season.
Let me tell you a bit about myself. I began drifting in 2019 at the age of 12, slowly progressed and practiced over the next 2 years, then in 2021 I did a season of SDC. I stepped back in 2022, had a year out and focused on driver level and skill. Then, at the back end of 2022, we decided to go from a M50b25 to a M60b40 and adjusted the car’s full rear end. It took a long while to get it working somewhat normally, before we knew it we were a week away from round 1. The car had no shakedown, no test, and we didn’t even know if it would hold up all weekend. We were unsure if we would be able to compete, but we just sent it and hoped for the best, and it paid off!
